Samsung Galaxy S10 might be the world’s first phone to launch with 12GB of RAM for the 5G model

Samsung might be developing a Galaxy S10 model featuring 12GB of RAM, according to an alleged GF Securities leak that emerged Chinese social media network Weibo. The device is being referred to as the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, implying that it could also adopt some form of 5G networking. The leak further suggests that the device will be accompanied by three other Galaxy S10 models with varying RAM capacities. Moreover, it indicates that Samsung isn’t the only OEM to consider the launch of a smartphone with 12GB of RAM and that Huawei is going to do the same within a similar timeframe.

Samsung Galaxy S10

Considered leak, Samsung will launch four flagship models at the beginning of next year, a standard version with 4 GB RAM, a Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus with 6 GB RAM, the so-called Samsung Galaxy S10 X housing 8 GB RAM and above. 12 GB/5G model. All four smartphones will launch in March, the leak indicates, although they will probably be unveiled in MWC in a year. For the 5G model, this is not the first time that this version is rumored, even though Samsung’s mobile head DJ Koh has already said that the Galaxy S10 will not be the first Samsung-built smartphone to offer capabilities. Nevertheless, despite the limited availability of 5G, many OEMs are now working on a 5G handset including Samsung’s neighbor, LG, who has partnered with US carriers Sprint to give a 5G smartphone next year. Meanwhile, the leak also means that Huwei P30 and P30 Pro will be launched in the same month as the Samsung Galaxy S10 lineup, in which the pre-model housing 8 GB RAM and later 12 GB will be adopted. There is no mention of 5G this time, but C30 has already been confirmed in the development of P-30 series by Richard Yu, although there is no official description about its hardware specifications.

While the smartphone with 12 GB RAM has reached a little distance, there is a sound logic behind the idea that 8 GB is a lot more today, 5G-enabled smartphones can use this RAM at least from the perspective of content streaming. 5G will enable new possibilities for streaming, and normally taxing on streaming smartphones or otherwise on RAM. Nevertheless, these technical details are not considered as confirmation of the leak space sheet below. Apart from this, even though this memory will become a reality in the beginning of next year, it can be a marketing strategy that can turn into expensive things, especially if 4G limited Smartphone 12 GB RAM starts crawling for real reasons Will do it.
